Appreciation Gifts

Tis' the season for gift giving...
Teachers. Coaches. Leaders. Instructors. Lots of opportunities for gift giving this time of year. Last night we had our first opportunity to share our appreciation with several leaders in my kids lives. Here are a couple of things I did.

I have made this simple sweet gift before, and wanted to do so again. I recycled cans from canned goods, added patterned paper (seen here with Trish's bingo sheets). Then I used the Crop-a-dile to punch holes and loop wire into the sides to make a little handle. Mums and baby's breath were added to floral foam and placed inside the cans. I tied raffia around the middle into a bow. Not shown were mini shipping tags that my girls added with 'to' and 'from' on them. Plus a mini tag saying thanks so much.  I have a few flowers left over. I may have to make them for me now.

These ARE as good as they look. Here's what you do for these Caramel Induced Shortbread cookies. Take store bought shortbread cookies, and add streams of melted caramels across the top. Sprinkle with toasted pecans. Then melt semi-sweet chocolate and dip half the cookie. Yummy. Easy. Appreciated.

Enjoy your day!
