And when you see this layout you will totally understand.
*this is that part where you start to go, my goodness, what was she thinking*
I made my own patterened paper on the back, it was sooooo simple. I had bought, awhile back, the stamp/glue pad. I had, of course, never used it, as that seems to be how I work. But, anywho, in this month's kit, Trish sent out glitter. I L O V E glitter. Maybe a bit too much. And I was pondering how I could use it this time. I saw the glue pad, I saw some October Afternoon stamps, and, seriously, this little light bulb in my head went *bing*! Ok, maybe not SERIOUSLY, but still...at least I was using that glue pad, right? And at least using one of my bazillion stamps I collect. So, the paper that you see that is green with pink sparklies? That's the one I made. It took less then 10 minutes. The mess stayed for a lot longer, but, hey, who doesn't like a bit of glitter in their hair? Right? Reminds me of pre-k when I would dress up as a princess...those were the days.
*yes, at this point, you can now say I am officially crazy*

Molly, that's such a cute LO. Love glitter too, but it tends to outwit any vacuum cleaner or duster! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat came out adorable! I'm sure your still glistening :)
ReplyDeleteLove that picture of you on the lo, Molly! So sweet!
ReplyDeleteI can't do glitter on layouts. Just can't. It drives me nuts--I hate the texture and how it sticks to you when you're done. I am hooked on the larger, chunky type (which may be in an upcoming kit--LOL!)
Thanks for sharing!
This is just crazy gorgeous, Molly!
ReplyDeleteCute idea!!!
ReplyDeleteMolly,
ReplyDeleteThis came out great!!! I saw Ellen's show yesterday and she was talking about glitter... Very funny.
