I have been a huge fan of Jamie Waters for years now. Her ability to mix patterned paper and embellishments in the most unconventional of ways has been inspiration to not only me, but tons of people in this industry. Her ability to capture her children's personalities on print makes me want to photograph my own kids differently--and I love that too. Here is a sample of a little interview from her, the WIP guest designer for August...How long have you been scrapping?

Give us some insight into your creative process and what or who inspires you:
new photos, new product, something cute that my kids say, an overwhelming feeling-- good or bad :)
If you only had 7 scrapbook items to use for the rest of your life, what would they be?

Favorite TV show: Brothers and Sisters
Favorite thing: When everyone in my home is happy
Least favorite thing: tantrums
A phobia: heights
An addiction: starbucks iced vanilla lattes
