I started leaving up one tree after Christmas every year a while back. I decorate it with red and pink, and call it my Valentine Tree. I love it. It seriously makes me happy. And since the house looks so bare after all the decorations have gone, it is fun fussing over something.
I'm gearing up for a few projects, and I'll share when I'm a bit more into them. All of them involve sewing. I love this time of year in Ohio, when your kids are back in school and you can begin those indoor projects...
Here's to a productive day for all...
Adorable, Trish! I truely wish I had an ounce of your energy! ;) You amaze me!
ReplyDeleteI love that tree... Too cute. Did you get my package... Thanks for everything.
ReplyDeleteTrish...Me too!!! But my little tree has snowflakes ornaments on it right now. Then I will switch to hearts for Feb, and either flowers or butterfly's for March...not like it's spring or anything here in March...but I love having a tree up for a bit too.
ReplyDeleteFun idea - your tree looks so cute. I just picked up some cute Easter egg decorations at the $1 bin at Michaels and wasn't quite sure what do with them but thought they were way too cute to pass up but now I am inspired to have a "seasonal" tree!
ReplyDeleteI have a Silver Tinsel tree that I'm going to get back out and decorate for Valentine's Day. Great idea Trish!
