It is my absolute pleasure to announce the newest members to the WIP Design Team...

Emily Spahn!!! I've been a fan of Emily's work for years, and her extensive gallery is impressive. She has described her own style as fairly simple but fun, and very easy to recreate. Emily is a middle school music teacher and a new mom to 4 month old Mirielle. She and her husband just celebrated their 5th anniversary and live in Illinois. Michelle Lanning!!! I have long admired Michelle's work for My Little Shoebox and Dream Street, and Noel Mignon. Michelle is not afraid of color, likes to use lots of layers and details in her work, and blends it all in the name of fun. Michelle and her family live in Orange County, CA (totally jealous). ...and Shelly Brewer!!! Two summers ago, I recall being in a Karen Russell class in Columbus, Ohio where Shelly and I were both students. I was impressed because she not only knew about photography, but she actually followed along when most of us were lost. (I'm not sure you even know that either, Shelly!) I connected more dots when I saw her gallery over at SIS--and I've been a fan ever since. Her really unique and funky style is not only fresh, but also artistic in a way that is difficult to describe. She is about to embark on a magical journey to Ethiopia where she and her husband are about to adopt their first child. You can view her gallery here and her blog here.

I sincerely look forward to working with this lovely bunch of ladies, and want to thank each and every one of you who took the time and the energy to apply to be on our team. It means more than you know!! I am happy to announce that these ladies will be joining our current members--Colleen Vasconcellos, Jamie Pate, Tina Zarlenga, Laina Lamb and Janelle Richmond. Welcome aboard!!
