So here is what I created...
I took the embossed cover and placed a lightweight sheet of printer paper over the design. I lightly ran my pencil across it, leaving an imprint of the image...
Then I cut the image out, and traced that image onto the back of patterned paper I wanted to use to showcase the inside of the apple...
Once I got the main shape traced and cut, I then continued on and cut the smaller pieces out and traced the area with a brown marker. I then went back with a mustard colored marker and highlighted the area...
I covered the rest of the plain pieces with patterned paper, making sure to ink the edges to cover up any open chipboard areas. I took the liberty to paint each of the stems, and then cut leaves out to add to the tops.
Then I took a distressing ink pad to the whole thing...

And there you have it! That green apple is from Making Memories packaging (alpha stickers were inside). I like it so much that I plan on framing it and not using it as a mini...
