~ If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome. ~
For those of us who share the dreary cold season, spring is a kind of rebirth or reawakening for us. A time of self-renewal, where as things are coming to life outdoors, they can also come alive within your-self.
Where we begin spring-cleaning, or reorganizing our closet, coming up with a new fitness routine or reevaluating our current diet, whatever it is your looking to alter, spring is a time for growth and change.
I know for myself that spring can have so many different meanings. The first spring that arrived after losing my son was an awakening of many sorts. It was a part of learning that life does go on. I could hear the birds singing see the grass growing, the sun shinning, and as much as I didn’t want to see it, it arrived as a gentle reminder to push me to try and begin to live again, even if it was with baby steps…
This year I look forward to spring with new meaning. Of course I want to clean out the closets and begin that spring -cleaning that needs to get done, but I also want to work on myself, my goals and my running.
What positive changes do you want to bring to your life this spring?
What a great post.

I love this too, Tina! One thing I've been working on more is staying away from the computer. It has added so much time to my life!! It has made such an impact, that I've also considered getting rid of my cell phone entirely, too. It feels GOOD. Thanks for the post!!
