Happy Friday Bloggers! And Happy Leap Day!
Just a reminder to the people who purchased the March Main kit and the March Project kit--the newsletters will be emailed to you tomorrow. The people who got the Letter to Me project kit will receive their email newsletter March 2nd (Sunday.) And the Letter to Me project kit is now officially SOLD OUT--thanks so much! And for those of you who can't wait another minute, I also updated the DT gallery.
How cool is it that Etsy was on Martha Stewart today, and they mentioned one of my favorite spots, Every Jot and Tittle? I am so happy for her! Pretty cool!
And for those of you who have inquired, I have posted information on subscriptions on the website. You can email me if you are interested in subbing--just be sure to tell me if you're taking the 3-month or the 6-month option at Turay413@gmail.com.
Here are the basics:
Subscriptions
One Monthly Purchase--$34
3-Month Subscription--$32 *no skip option
6-Month Subscription--$30 *one skip option
Shipping
At this time, shipping will remain at $6.50 per kit, for the continental US addresses.
There will most likely be a shipping increase in May with all priority mail is
increased. For international rates, I still only charge exact costs to ship, and that is
sent out in a separate paypal invoice. Kits will ship out once the paypal invoice is
paid, and the shipping is USPS Priority.
Skips
There is only an option to skip when purchasing a 6 month subscription, and it is a
one-time offer.
In the event that you would like to skip a month, for whatever reason, please
contact me before the 17th of the month you would like to skip. That month will
then be tacked on to the end of your sub. So if you joined the club in April 2008 for
six months and want to skip July, your sub would end in October instead of
September because you skipped the July kit. There are no skips offered for 3
months subscriptions.
Early Cancellation Policy
There will be a $15 cancellation fee for anyone choosing to leave a subscription
early.
We reserve the right to cancel any sub at any time. We also reserve the right to
refuse a subscription for any reason.
Subscription Sign Ups and Activation
To sign up for a subscription, please email Trish at Turay413@gmail.com and
select either a three month or 6 month option. You will be sent a confirmation
email, and your subscription will begin with the April Kit (which will be billed on
March 15th.) Each month, you will be sent an email with a photograph and a list of
contents of the kits that are available for purchase. Subscriptions exist for the
MAIN MONTHLY KIT. As a subscriber, you will also have the first option to purchase
add-ons and project kits at this time. After your order is placed, you will be sent a
paypal invoice with your total. You will have 3 days to pay the invoice, and the kit(s)
will be mailed out once the invoice is paid.
Renewals
Work in Progress Kits will contact you when your subscription is about to expire. If
you would like to re-enlist, you may do so at that time. If you are not interested,
simply notify me via email. You will not be automatically charged for a
continuation.
Newsletters
Email newsletters for the kits will continue to stay the same, and will be sent to
customers who purchase the kit on the first of the month. So for example, for the
April kit, the kits will be available for purchase on March 15th and sent out after the
invoice is paid. The newsletter for that kit will be emailed on April 1st. The gallery
with the design team creations will also be available on April 1st as well.
Okay, have a great weekend, and I'll be back with some yummy stuff soon!

Three Favorite Things...
I love how Ali does a "pick three" kinda thing, and today I'm stealing her idea!
Tussie Mussie's. They make me happy. This one was made with the March Project Kit. I'm in the midst of planning a baby shower, and I'm doing a ton of these as favors (all in pinks!)...I recently had not one, but two Uppercase Living parties at my home, and I'm in love with their stuff! My dear friend Melanie Gerdeman sells it, and if you'd like to contact her about more info, her email is mo_gerdeman@yahoo.com. It is seriously all over my house! This is the one in my bedroom:
And my Etsy find of the week is fun and whimsical! Veronica is a total sweetheart, and you can see her tags and journaling spots are adorable!
You can see her Etsy store here...and you might see them in upcoming kits!
Okay, and how cool is it that Theresa Collins posted this? I sent her an email yesterday, and she is the sweetest thing to mention it on her blog! I have loved her stuff since her Junkitz days, and she is a dear friend to my friend, Ginger Rohlfs. I sincerely love all her new line--so THANK YOU for the nod, Theresa! I still have a few kits available if you are interested here.
(So that's four things, I know...)
Have a wonderful day people!

The March Project Kit Banner
I started this at the weekend retreat and finished it up yesterday...I have not done a pennant banner before, and I have to say, this won't be my last one! It really is kind of hard to see all the shimmer in the photographs, but the papers in the kit are glittered, and in person, it is really cool!
The vintage die cuts and the trims were fun to play with too...
And just as a reminder, the newsletter for this kit (which is still available here) and the March main kit will be emailed out to the customers who purchased the kits on March 1st!
And to answer Pam and Vanessa--I normally don't get a lot done at crops. I'm usually the one putting the crop on, so I'm busy doing other things. I also love the social aspect, as I work from home, so generally I'm not too productive. This weekend was the exception to the rule--I finished up 8 layouts and two mini books, and I got a lot of the banner above done, so I thought that was really good for me!
Okay guys--enjoy your Wednesday!

A Few Layouts to share...
...from this past weekend's crop...
And this one was Mary Ann's...
I've been working on the March newsletters that will be emailed out on March 1st, and have also been shipping kits like a mad woman! I am especially glad for my mail carrier on days like these--we got about 8 inches of snow here last night (snow day for my kids!) and I don't have to leave the house. So hopefully I'll produce a few more of these layouts soon...
I'll also be posting information on the new subscription program very soon. I've had a ton of email on it, and I look forward to starting sign-ups in the next day or two. Stay tuned!
Enjoy your Tuesday, and make it a great day!

Something Special...
I heard a song on the radio last week that stuck with me. I'm a huge fan of Brad Paisley, and I think his writing is what I love the most. His latest song is called "A Letter to Me." And it spawned this mini book...The concept is simple.
If you could write a letter to your 17-year old self, what would you tell her?
I had been thinking about doing a book like this for some time. I had lots of pictures of me and my friends from that time in my life. And when I got my hands on the brand new Theresa Collins papers, I knew it would be perfect for the project...
I can't express how happy I am with the final project. It came together in a couple of hours on Saturday night, and I really love it.
I also managed to make a layout on one of my mentors, Mary Catherine. Remember the crackle heart from last week?
So, the obvious next question would be...
Where can I get my hands on the Theresa Collins papers?
And the answer to that would be RIGHT HERE!
I was lucky enough to be able to order these papers really early on--before the CHA rush. And I thought I'd pass the good fortune on to you--my wonderful bloggers.
This kit is ready to ship, and the quantities are limited, so if you are interested, simply purchase it on the site. I know these will go quickly and have not seen these papers out elsewhere yet, so please keep that in mind. It is in addition to my regular monthly kits, and I will email a newsletter with photos of the "Letters to Me" mini book in detail, along with a few photos of finished layouts using the papers from the kit. That newsletter will be emailed on March 2 to the individuals who purchase the kit. The price of the kit is $35, and the details can all be viewed here.
And there are a few March Project kits available for purchase as well, and those can be purchased directly on the site as well now...
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me at Turay413@gmail.com. Thanks so much for your interest, and I hope to hear from you soon!
Happy Monday!

Scrapping Retreat...
I had the most lovely time this weekend! I spent it with 100 other ladies in a the Grand Ballroom at the Bertram Inn, and it was nothing short of wonderful. Here's what we looked like as a group:And this is my friend Mary Ann last night, right before a rootbeer float nightcap...
We scrapped into the wee hours of the morning on both Friday and Saturday nights, and enjoyed the wonderful five star cuisine the place is famous for. Thank you Shelley--you worked your tail off, and we all enjoyed ourselves! Can't wait to do it again soon...
And this is a little layout I loved by my friend Jennifer Bueck I wanted to share. She was so productive this weekend with that AL Recipe book! Thanks for sharing Jen!
I'll be back in the morning for a treat, and to show you what I did with my time this weekend...

Easy recipe...and a sale!
It has been a while since I posted a recipe, so here is an easy one for you to try...
Okay, I got an email from one of my fav stores, and I know I got a few comments on my big wooden scissors in my scrapbook room. I got mine at the PB Clearance center, but the price here is what I paid!
And while you're there, check this out and oh...this too...
Enough enabling!
Okay, have a super duper weekend, and I'll be back for a real special surprise by Sunday evening. Trust me here, you won't want to miss out on this one. It won't be advertised anywhere else but here, so stay tuned! :) (hee hee hee...)
**Okay, two more things before I go...
For those of you who loved the Special Edition Anniversary kit--be sure to check out Pink Paislee's new community that opened today here. Should be fun!
And I thought this was a great idea and wanted to share...
Out!
Italian Pasta Salad
8 oz. cooked angel hair pasta
2 tomatoes
4 oz. feta cheese (tomato basil is my fav)
Fresh basil
Garlic
Olive oil
In a frying pan, heat oil. Brown garlic in hot oil, making sure to stir a lot so it doesn’t burn. Place cooked garlic and oil over freshly cooked cold angel hair pasta. Add chopped tomatoes and crumble feta over the dish. Add chopped basil and salt and enjoy!

Playing Around...
I'm not big on paint. My own pages are simple and straight-forward, and I'm good with that. I rarely try new techniques--but I have to say, I'm completely sold on these...Tim Holtz's crackle paints come with a brush attached to the inside of the lid. They go on like butter, and really do crackle (with the aid of my hair dryer--but you can also use a heat tool.) Here is what the pink (Worn Lipstick) looks like on chipboard, once it has been inked with distressing ink to bring out that crackled look:
I was warned beforehand to use it on chipboard because it would make cardstock buckle. So I knew ahead of time to not waste my time on that. I liked it so much, I tried the red (fired brick)...
So then I got to playing around, and I added these gigantic Dresden wings...
I think I like them this way best:
I plan on making this the focal point to a cool layout I hope to complete this weekend. I'll be sure to keep you posted!
Many of you got the March Add-On that went on sale last Friday with the Tea Stain crackle paint in that kit. If you have a chance to play, please share photos with me, and I'll be glad to post the pictures on the blog. Kind of fun to try something new...

Let the Sunshine in...
Here in Ohio, it can be gloomy in February. So as I packed away my Valentine's today, I gathered some fresh springtime goods to cheer me up...
I got this bag of goods over at Etsy. *Edited: I found it here! * (but you can always search under Easter Vintage and see what you come up with too!) I can't wait to play with it this weekend at a scrapbook retreat! So looking forward to getting away with the girls...I picked this up last week at Marshall's. It may not look like it, but it is huge, and really looks like a chocolate rabbit! I plan on making it a centerpiece on my dining room table for the holiday...
And along with my vintage Easter decor, I found the perfect wrapped candy bars to go with my theme. Aren't they darling? Also at Marshall's. I love that you never know what you're going to find there...
Tomorrow I plan on sharing my new favorite technique...
ooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh...

A bit of the January kit...a bit of the February kit...
So, even though the Post Office lost my February kit in the mail, it wasn't like I couldn't try to look for the papers in the LSS's here, so I did! And do you KNOW just how perfectly the February kit matches with the January project kit???? Yeah, it's pretty perfect match (cause Trish is soooo totally cool like that!)!
I added some of the Making Memories Love stickers to some Basic Grey chipboard hearts, which was SOOO much easier then I thought (plus I wasn't wasting whole sheets of paper, and it's already sticky!). I think I will be doing it again! :D

Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine's Day, Bloggers!
Thought I'd share this lovely book today, seeing how appropriate it is and all...My friend Pam made this as a V-Day gift for her husband. It showcases them "then & now"...
Thanks for sharing, Pam! (I believe the book is made by Bo Bunny).
And her take on the card I made was really cool!
Thanks for sharing with all of us, Pam!
Molly will be sharing one of her lovely layouts later on today, so be sure to check back later, too...
In the meantime, spread the love!

As promised...
Here is another sneak from the main March kit, available for a full preview on Friday! Yes, that would be the new Making Memories Journaling notebook using the 5th Avenue papers...And for those of you who are dying for a breath of springtime air, here is a teeny sneak of pieces/parts of the March project kit. The two paper lines included in this kit are Making Memories Garden Party, and Imaginesce For Peep's Sake. The papers are all glittery...and they make me giddy! Can't wait to share the projects with you for this one (there will be two that are perfect for spring!).
Enjoy your Wednesday!
Enjoy your Wednesday!

Smitten with Smitten
Yesterday, a lss nearby did a make & take. Since I was doing my own class, I was unable to make it. But thanks to Val, the gals at my class were able to partake because she ran out to get these beauties. So glad she did! Both of the projects were mini kits that Cord Camera had purchased from K & Company. Their Valentine line is called "Smitten", and I think it's divine...
The above photo is a beautiful pocket card made of chipboard. I love all the detail and the layering! The bottom is a Valentine banner... and it is hanging on my hall tree as you walk in the front door...
More love tomorrow. And maybe a sneakie peeky or two...
