I made these for my niece who recently graduated from high school. It was a simple and quick project, so you know I had to share...
I got the 6" wooden cubes from Michael's in the wood area. They are not heavy--I believe they're hollow and they're unfinished.
I painted the edges with my brown dauber and added red-line tape for a strong bond. Now, you could easily use mod podge here, but I was going for the clean look since these were going to be on a graduation table.
I used papers from the June WIP Kit, making sure to get a good bond with the adhesive. I cut the papers smaller so you could see the edges (you could also sand them off the sides for a rugged look.)
Next, I added photos I took of her (which ended up being her senior pictures.)

And last but not least, I added a few embellishments from the June kit!! In less than an hour, I had 6 completed. Give it a try!!
