Been baking for our son's upcoming First Communion this weekend. These are his favorites. I thought I'd share the recipe today...

Lemon Drop Cookies
1 Package Lemon Cake Mix
8oz. Cool Whip
1 egg
Powdered Sugar to coat cookies

Mix together. Batter will be sticky. Take a spoonful and coat in a bowl of powdered sugar, and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. These are DELISH! And with just 4 ingredients, what's not to love??

  3. Thanks for sharing this recipe, Trish--they look like a perfect light, lemony dessert option for upcoming showers, teas, parties and other summer get-togethers! Plus, with only a few ingredients and no difficult steps, even this "non-baker" can probably make them! :)

  4. I love these cookies - I make them at Christmas (strange time I know, but we seem to get a peppermint overload at Christmas and the lemon adds a nice change.)
