May's Main & Project Kits...and a winner!

April Showers...

I wanted to show you two more versions of the baby bib idea...
You can see the original bib idea featured here today--one of my daily stops! I thought I'd show the sign I used for a baby shower (it hung on the door and greeted guests as they arrived.) I'm in love with the Making Memories papers, and the new Animal Cracker line has the most wonderful set of tags that I've been using all week long! Here is the girlie version using the Ella Scalloped Circle paper...

Another Peek...

...and this time, it is the May Add-on kit!This kit will include papers from Webster's Pages & Making Memories to name a few, and embellishments from SEI, 7Gypsies and etsy. It blends well with the main kit as well as the project kit, and is sure to go fast!

This kit, as with the May Main kit and the May Project kit, will be made available to the customers on the subscription program early next week. The kits will be made available to the public on April 15th!!

A Sneak...

...of the May WIP Project kit...This kit is jam packed with brand new product that is perfect for Spring! The Project kit will contain not one mini book, but TWO (and the possibility of three, if you so desire--you'll see!) The papers in this kit contain SEI Dill Blossom, Imaginesce, Making Memories and Teresa Collins. And yes, those would be the brand new Making Memories tiny alphas...what's not to love here? Grade School Album Class & Kit Information

I wanted to thank all the ladies who joined me for a sold out class at my home last Friday night! You were amazing and set a new record by finishing early...WOW!The kit is now available, and the people who pre-ordered this were sent paypal invoices this evening. They are ready to ship now! I made a few extras and they'll be available here to purchase directly if you are interested. The kit goes from pre-school through 6th grade and contains 18 12x12 layouts.
So many teachers under one roof! It really is a small world after all...You guys were a lot of fun!!
And for those of you who attended this class or one of the other grade school classes, I am going to re-teach the second half to this class on Friday, May 9th at my home from 6-11. This class will begin at 7th grade and go through 12th grade and will cost $40. Taking Inventory

One of the concepts that Stacy Julian focuses on in her Library of Memories class is taking inventory of who you scrap. Mostly, I find myself scrapping my 3 children. But have you ever taken inventory--gone through and really looked at who you are leaving out? It occurred to me that I take a ton of pictures of my mom with our children, but that I have not scrapped a lot of those pictures. So I'm out to change that...On St. Patrick's Day, we all wore green, so I made them all pose...
I especially love this photo of my mom. It's the look I get all the time--flared nostrils and all--when I asked her to smile during her birthday dinner at her favorite spot--Applebees. There is something about capturing that look that I love. I journaled a lot about this and tucked it all underneath the photograph.

I've also noticed I don't scrap my sisters or my dad as much as I'd like.

Who is it for you? And why are you putting it off? Have you even realized that you are omitting a part of your life by not scrapping that person(s)?

You don't have to wait for the perfect photo. What is it that you want to say? What stories do you hold dear? What lessons have you learned from them? Don't be afraid to say it--it doesn't have to be long or perfectly written. It just has to be personal and sincere...

:) Go on. Take inventory.

A few finds...

I saw these at Target a few days ago and snagged them. I thought they'd be perfect for more of these... The colors and patters are cool!
I also fell in love with the bright colors in the boy line from Making Memories also found at Target. Those brights make me smile!
I got these beauties from Pinks & Needles. I want them all! The tiny little details are amazing, and I can't wait to put them into my pretty pincushion...

And I'm so excited about this!! I saw Ginger's blog yesterday and busted up about it, and it brought back fond memories of me taking my sister and all her friends in my parent's Ford LTD to Blossom back in 1990. They're supposed to be on the Today Show in the morning! Woohoo!

Looking forward to tomorrow night's class and scrapping with the gals on Saturday! Hope you enjoy your weekend, too!

I love my UPS Man.

Especially since he brought my shipment of these today...Ahhhh, yes. I've been coveting this 7Gypsies Photo Carousel ever since I saw it. And oh, I'm even happier with it in real life!! I enjoyed the ATC spinner immensely, and did a class on it last fall. So when I first saw that they made a larger one, I was overjoyed!! It comes with 10 protectors to house photos or memorabilia and they are reinforced where it meets the shelf. It has 3 of the shelves--and guess what? The distance between the upper and middle and the middle and lower shelves are equivalent to the ATC holders. So this means you can use all of the ATC cardholder tags and such as fillers!! How cool is that! You can also use it as a storage item for your acrylic stamps...

And paired with the Theresa Collins double sided die cuts, it has the makings of a special kit, wouldn't you say? :)
My wheels are turning...and while I'm still tweaking the exact contents & details, I can tell you these will be available very early next week...

How do you like the Pink Paislee transparency at the top right? Pretty cool stuff, eh? I will tell you the kit contains papers from Webster's Pages, Making Memories, 7Gypsies, Scenic Route, Pink Paislee, Collage Press and Melissa Frances. Whew! And there will be not one, but two alphas...chipboard and rub-ons!

Clipboard Ideas from the Project Kit

Hello Bloggers!

I wanted to share some ideas on altering your Pinecone Press clipboards...

I made this one and used the clip as the binding of a mini book. That flower was totally inspired by Anilu--her gallery was amazing this month--thanks Anilu!Molly used hers to display her favorite photo of her and Janelle. You gals are adorable, btw!!

This one can be used as a great gift. A friend of mine gave this to her teenager--and found that it is easier to write something down rather than talking sometimes. I thought the idea was adorable and worth sharing...
And this one makes me laugh. I was going to have it say, "Gone Fishin'" with that fish paper and all...LOL!

Anyway, it is an easel, with long flat screws and bolts to anchor it.
