Frequently Asked Questions

When are kits available for sale?
Kits will debut on the 15th day of each month, and will be available for preview by customers who are on a subscription.  Sneak peeks will debut on the 15th of eachmonth for non-subscribers on the WIP blog as well.    Previous kits will also be available for sale while supplies last, on a first come basis.  Occasionally, I will offer special edition kits from time to time, and those are usually listed on the WIP blog and on the website under the "current kits" page.

What is your privacy policy?
Don't worry, your secret is safe with us!  Here at Work In Progress Scrapbooking, we take your privacy seriously and promise to never disclose any personal information you provide to us to outside sources.  Any and all personal information collected from you, including payment information, will be used for WIP business only and is protected using secure encryption technology. 

When will my kit ship?
Kits ship within 3 days of receiving payment.  When kits are listed, they are ready to ship .

How much is shipping?
If you live in the United States, shipping is $8.00 flat rate, and your kits will ship via Priority Mail.  If you'd like to purchase additional kits, you will be charged $2.00 for every kit after the original kit until a flat rate shipping cost is met (currently, that is $10.80 within the continental US).  We do ship internationally, and the shipping rate for anything outside the continental US is exact.

What forms of payment do you take?
We use PayPal as our preferred method of payment.  If you would like to pay by check or money order, email me at and we'll make arrangements. 

What if my kit arrives damaged?
We will package and ship your kit with the utmost care to minimize any chance of damage.  Sometimes things happen beyond our control, and in the event that your kit arrives damaged, please contact us at  within five days of receipt.   Be sure and tell us how the kit is damaged, and we will make arrangements for an exchange.  Please be advised, however, that return shipping charges are non-refundable.  All returns must be previously authorized by Work In Progress staff.  If the kit is no longer available, we will issue a credit for a future kit. 

Do you have a substitution policy?
Yes, we do.  If products featured in our current month's kits become unavailable, or are backordered, we reserve the right to substitute any product of equal quality and value in the event of manufacturer shortages or delays.  We’ll make every effort to meet your satisfaction.

One Monthly Purchase--$32
3-Month Subscription--$30 *no skip option
6-Month Subscription--$28 *one skip option

There is only an option to skip when purchasing a 6 month subscription, and it is a one-time offer. In the event that you would like to skip a month, for whatever reason, please contact me before the 17th of the month you would like to skip.  That month will then be tacked on to the end of your sub.  So if you joined the club in April 2008 for six months and want to skip July, your sub would end in October instead of September because you skipped the July kit.  There are no skips offered for 3 months subscriptions. 

Early Cancellation Policy
There will be a $15 cancellation fee for anyone choosing to leave a subscription early.  We reserve the right to cancel any sub at any time.  We also reserve the right to refuse a subscription for any reason.

Subscription Sign Ups and Activation

To sign up for a subscription, please email Trish at and select either a three month or 6 month option.  You will be sent a confirmation email, and your subscription will begin with the April Kit (which will be billed on March 15th.)  Each month, you will be sent an email with a photograph and a list of
contents of the kits that are available for purchase.  Subscriptions exist for the MAIN MONTHLY KIT.  As a subscriber, you will also have the first option to purchase add-ons and project kits at this time.  After your order is placed, you will be sent a paypal invoice with your total.  You will have 3 days to pay the invoice, and the kit(s) will be mailed out once the invoice is paid. 

Work in Progress Kits will contact you when your subscription is about to expire.  If you would like to re-enlist, you may do so at that time.  If you are not interested, simply notify me via email.  You will not be automatically charged for a continuation.
