Just wanted to post some pictures from the crop on Saturday...
Amish Friendship Bread. Have you done this? It's the stuff where you get the "starter" from a friend, keep it on your kitchen counter for 10 days, and on the last day, add stuff to it and bake it? As Kelly's husband said, "I'm not sure how it doesn't kill you, but it is delicious!"Special thanks to Kenzie for making these yummy cookie cups that were filled with candies. Wow. Those were unbelievable...
Here's Tina working on one of her many projects. She's a fast scrapper. Me, just the opposite!
And Jen got a ton done...including these two "U" items that she found at Archiver's for a dollar each. Love those clearance section finds! And can I just say that that K & Co. Valentine line is absolutely beautiful?
Here she is making an altered clock. She got me here. I need one of these now.
And Sue showed me this, and I'm all over it! She found it over here, and you'll be seeing more of these in the near future. Isn't it darling?
This is a fun pic I took of the platter of candy that Mary Ann provided. She and I are going to a weekend getaway next month, and I think I need to start dieting now...
Hope your weekend was just as fun!

I'm the first blogger of the day! Whoohoo! LOL!
Wow, it looks like you were a busy little bee on Saturday and you were surrounded by such inspiration... Very cool. Thanks for sharing all these projects with us! Hugs!
WOw wow oww!!! Busy busy busy!
I've done the friendship bread and it is YUMMY! :)
I wish I could scrap fast, but I am to much of a perfectionist, apparently! :)
I've done the friendship bread too...they call it "Herman" here and you pass Herman from friend to friend.
I am a slow scrapper also....have to lay it out - sit and stare at it - stand up and look at it, etc!
Trish, I just about a half hour ago took my very first 2 Amish breads out of the oven. Kids are home from school today, and it was a fun baking project. They are loving every crumb! In fact I took some pics, and plan to blog them later. Such a crazy coincidence that you blogged that this morning.
I love all the exciting things you gals got up to at the crop. Way too much talent in that room! I'd have been intimidated. :)
Trish:
Wish i could have been there Saturday! Looks like fun! I love scrap days!
I followed the link to what Sue made but I cannot find it there or instructions. Help! :)
Love your BLOG!!

Dawn--
Sue told me she found it there, but I couldn't find that project either! Sue made a template of it, and I copied it, but it wasn't provided on the site (she did it herself.) If you email me at Turay413@gmail.com, I'll send you a copy of the template. It will also be in the WIP newsletter to the people who purchased the Feb. kit...
Thanks!
Oh my! I am jealous! Good food, good friends and scrapping rolled all into one??? Lucky gals you are!
The friendship bread was delicious!!! Thanks Trish. I'm looking forward to more crops and classes in '08!
OMG!! I used to make Amish bread all the time, it was sooo YUM! Looks like you guys had a blast!
