Getting to Know More of you...

...And today, we have the goods from Nicole Eshelman...

Here is where she hangs to scrap! Aren't the MM cubes cool?
She loves vertical paper storage from Cropper Hopper...
And got these adorable cupcake tins at a dollar store! Cool way to organize, eh?

Her scrap process:
Usually, I am inspired by both my photos and product. Colors really speak to me and I tend to choose bright ones...I love to make my layouts "pop"! I usually start with photos and product and spread it all out on the floor. This is how ideas start to come to me...I am a very visual person, so I usually have to play with everything for a while until it starts to "click". I usually save my embellishing for the end, the little details are the things I enjoy most on my layouts.
I usually scrap during the afternoon while my little guy is napping. I am NOT a late-night scrapper - I like my sleep...lol! I try to scrap at least four times a week, but if the mojo isn't flowing, I take a break.
When I scrap, I must have:
  1. Fine-tip scissors
  2. Heidi Swapp distressing tool
  3. Tombo mono-adhesive
  4. Paper trimmer
  5. Lots of alphas to choose from!
My favorite manufacturers are Scenic Route (she's on their DT), American Crafts and Heidi Swapp. I love embellishments...I seriously could never have enough!!!

The daily item I couldn'tlive without: scrapping - my Fiskars fine-tip scissors... use them ALL the time! (If you were looking for a non-scrappy answer then...I am going to have to go with sweets! )
Right now I want: to spend a day at the spa getting pampered...the works!
I wish I knew how to: sew. I am working on this right now...my hubby bought me a mini sewing machine for Christmas and I am learning the basics.
When I want to indulge myself, I: head to the day spa...I am obsessed with getting facials every other month now that I am "mid-thirties".
3 scrap/card related sites you want others to know about: I love to browse the Garden Girls work over at Two Peas. The online idea gallery at Scenic Route (ok, I may be a bit biased with this one) and KI Memories are also goodies!!!
You’ll never see me: going digital with my layouts...NEVER!! I love product too much and I have to have it in my hands...plain and simple.
A childhood memory that scarred you: none that I can think of!
2 things you do every single day: Tell my kids/hubby I love them and read a good book
Music or TV show you scrap to: No music for me...just movies. Nicolas Cage movies, to be exact. Usually I watch National Treasure at least three times a week. I'm not sure how it started, but for some reason, that movie works for me and scrapping!
Describe yourself in 3 words: happy, energetic and organized
2 scrap related goals for this year: To learn how to sew on a layout (which I just did!, but still need work) and I would love to get published in print this year!
