April Main Kit Sneak Peek...

Okay bloggers...here is a partial peek of April's main kit which will be available on March 15th for purchase on the website. Please remember, the only way to secure a kit is to sign up for a subscription. At this time, there will be kits available for purchase to the general public on the 15th. However, as the subscriptions grow in numbers each day, fewer become available, and I do feel the need to state this again, as I know they will go quickly. I have had a lot of people email about the kit and subscribe in the past 2 days as a result. Welcome aboard!

I got several emails regarding the Grade School Album class. It didn't occur to me that I have never blogged about it, nor have I ever posted photos of the class--sorry about that! Maybe because I'm so familiar and I've taught it so many times, I assumed everyone I knew had seen them...but that is only true for the locals here...so here are some of the details...

The class covers pre-school through 6th Grade ONLY. (I did also teach 2 classes for the second half of the album--from 7th Grade through 12th, but for now, that is not available.) The class also includes a cover page (the one above is mine for my own son, but your kit would contain any name you submit to me), and a page that contains the child's signature through the years. That is a grand total of eighteen 12x12 pages.

Each grade is covered in a 2 page layout. Each layout includes the title, a place for his/her school photo, a class photo, journaling and additional photos. It does not include a place for artwork. However, if you use a D-ring album, that could easily be modified by using Cropper Hopper envelopes that are added to the back of the book. I have gotten into the habit of photographing my children's artwork and printing them out in little photos on a full sheet and using that in the book--so I actually save very little of their own--but that is just my method...

As I have stated with prior projects, the wonderful part of this whole thing is that I started doing it long before I needed to, and as my children have started school, I've simply had to add their photos to the album. The work is all done ahead of time, and it is absolutely rewarding to have that aspect of scrapbooking under my belt. And judging by the response to this class, I know the other moms and aunts and grandmas feel the same. I've had so many repeat customers who have taken the class before and sign up again because it is a good value.

If you are interested in requesting a kit, I will have a few available after the class on April 4th. I will need a little extra time after the class to make these up, so if you are interested in reserving one, please email me at Turay413@gmail.com. The kit will cost the same as the class, which is $50, plus shipping. I will send an email containing photos of the pages to complete them, which will be similar to the newsletters with the kits.

For the local customers who have signed up for the class, you should have received a confirmation email if you got in before the cut off. I do have a wait list for the class, so if you are not able to attend the class, please let me know so I can give the spot to the next person 0n the list. Thanks so much--I'm looking forward to it!
