Banners

A few months ago, a friend was re-doing her guest bedroom the same time I was preparing for my Garlands and Banners class over at Get it Scrapped. I wanted to create something for the room, especially since she was totally into yellow and black...
It felt so good to just go through my stash and not buy a single thing for this project. I simply went with it, and it flowed...
I got to see the finished project up in her newly decorated room this past weekend, and this picture doesn't do it justice. I love that she used the "DREAM" banner on the wall--it is one of many cool things in the room.
I also wanted to mention this beautiful banner that was made by Laina and our mutual friend, Becci. The adorable monkey print was scanned and then cut with the Cricut using the SCAL. The inspiration came from a child's shirt--and it became the theme for the child's 2nd birthday. Is that cute or what?

I'm busy working on a patriotic banner for the next WIP Project kit for July as I type. Stay tuned for more sneaks soon!!

Have a great day...

Trish, thanks for the kudos! The inspiration came from you making it look so easy. Extra BIG thanks to the multi-talented Laina as well! ---Becci
