POTD & updates...

Finally, enough snow to really sled. The kiddos went to bed with pj's turned inside out, spoons under their pillows, and a syncronized toilet flush at exactly 9pm. What happened to crossed fingers for a snow day? Anyway, my picture for today (1.4.10)...

Got a few email questions to answer. I'm way behind because I've been sick, but I hope to play a little catch-up today...

Yes, I did complete the Project 365 last year, and I used the kit from Becky Higgins. It was hard to get into the habit of taking a picture every single day at first, but I have to say, I surprised even myself with how much I enjoyed it. I'm the QUEEN of unfinished projects, so I was happy to cross it off my list.

And yes, I'm doing it for this coming year too. I have not received it yet, but I'm doing the BH version again. Totally worth the $$ and effort--even for people who don't think they can squeeze it into their busy lives...

The next crop at the Waterbury Community Center is Saturday, January 23, 2010 from 10am-midnight. The cost is $25, and includes lunch and dinner. I have a few openings left if you are interested, and you can join us by emailing me at Turay413@gmail.com to reserve your spot. We'd love to see you there!

I'd like to invite you to a wonderful charity crop that I am happy to tell you about as well. It will take place on Friday, February 19th from 5-11pm AND continue on Saturday, February 20th from 8am-11pm. It will take place at the Rocky River High School, and will include dinner on Friday and lunch and dinner on Saturday. The charity event will benefit the Rocky River Relay for Life...and the cost for BOTH days is $30. The seating is limited, so if you are interested or have any questions, please email Jennifer Bueck at leakypen@oh.rr.com to reserve your spot.

I've also listed other upcoming crops on the website, for those of you who like to plan ahead...

I had the chance to scrap with friends over the break and have a ton of layouts to post, but I've been away from the computer due to a bad cold, but I'll get them up. The rest of the WIP DT gallery is up for your viewing pleasure...

I will also post my December Daily in the near future as well. Happy to have completed that, too--especially since I've been a slug for the past two days...

Hope you have a great Tuesday...

Trish, I hope you feel better soon! I did not finish my project365. I ordered the BH kit also and was doing great for about 3 months and then fizzled out. I was good about taking a picture everyday but not so good about printing them and keeping up with the journaling. I haven't ordered her new kit as I am not sure I can keep it up. Waiting to see what the digital version will look like first. Maybe I will do project 12 and do highlight for the month instead of everyday?

Love this NY LO! I highly recommend 365 - I finish 2009 and it wasn't easy, but the rewards from it were huge. Changed my whole perspective both crafty & personally.
