Garlands and Banners

For a couple of years now, I've been a complete sucker for a cool banner. Beginning today over at Get it Scrapped, you can register for my online self-paced class called Garlands and Banners. So excited to share a couple more I've created recently with you...
I designed and created this one and have used it often during my children's birthday parties. It is gender neutral, and the space between "happy" and "birthday" is left as a mat for photos of the birthday boy/girl. (Sorry for the confetti in the shot--it isn't attached to the banner--this is an actual shot from my son's party.)
This one is still on our utility closet door. I know Valentine's Day is over, but I just love the pics of our kids, and it makes me smile. We have a lot of red in the house, so it's staying up for a little while. Felt + Chipboard = Heaven.

I made a "LUCKY" banner for my mom (we're Irish). I used some patterned paper, ivory and green burlap, a few decorative punches, felt, ribbon, fabric and beads to create this one...

She'll be happy to hang it in her home...

Oh, and this one...

This one is on my to-do list. Having lots of fun with yarn lately...

If you are interested in creating banners and garlands, I'd love to see you over at Get it Scrapped!! The people there are generous and friendly, not to mention creative. I'll be posting more garlands there through the Spring (the registration is open through April). Cost of the self-paced class is $20. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I hope to see you there!!
