Scrapboxes

I really debated about not posting this because the photos don't do it justice. Seriously, I wish I could take you all to my friend Jen's house to see these in person. You would gasp like I did.
Jen created these shadow box works of art, representing the people in her family. They are so beautiful. She got the boxes from Ikea, and backed each one of them with beautiful fabric napkins found at Pottery Barn.

She added photos and bits and pieces to represent each person perfectly. The above box is about her father who is from Korea.
This is her daughter's box. Sorry for the blurry photos. I'll try not to laugh when taking pics for the blog next time...

This one is her mother. So precious!

And this one is her husband, Robert.
Between seeing this and catching the Martha Stewart re-run on Scrapboxes last week, I think I'm officially into over-drive mode now. Must. Create. Boxes.
For an amazing look at Darcy Miller's Scrapboxes, be sure to view these and these. Warning--you'll be hooked, too.

*I answered questions about yesterday's post in red if you were looking for a response. Thanks so much for the kind words--much appreciated!! :)
