Random sharing today! We'll start out with a new iPhone app that I purchased immediately after reading Elsie's blog post about her favorite iPhone apps. How did I live without the Quad cam? Came in handy when our son threw this wig on over the weekend...
Did a little shopping with the daughter. I walked away from this...but man...I'm seriously considering going back for it. I happen to LOVE anything that is bold and makes a statement, and while it doesn't look it, this baby is 42" round--the size of a tabletop--and it made me swoon...
My daughter picked this out and told me it would be perfect on our bed (along with the other 20 pillows), and I giggled. She's got my number. Think the hubs would notice? I mean, he curses my name when he has to remove them anyway. What's one more?
This purchase made me skip out of the store. I was such a mall rat back in the mid-80's. Oh--no exaggeration here. And to add to things, my bff worked at the Clinique counter and kept me well-stocked in free samples back in the day, thank you very much. And since I'm a sucker for the Clinique Bonus Events to this day, I thought I won the lottery when I happened to fall upon this little $10 gem there. It is a handly little mascara for your bottom lashes. Perfect for a gal who is all thumbs like me! How could I not have known about this before? Maybe I should go to the mall more than twice a year, eh? Look at that teeny little wand!
My friend Jen picked this printer's tray up for me a while back, and I put it on my "someday to do" pile in my office. I dusted that sucker off this weekend and I'm slowly coming around to the idea of painting it. Thoughts? It scared me at first--all those little boxes--and now I think I'm inspired to do something with it...
Have you signed up for Souvenir? It is a free gazette-style e-newsletter that is filled with lots of creative stuff, with lots of old fashioned charm. I'm a big fan of Pam Garrison and Heather Bullard, so be sure to sign up and make the adorable seed packets they have posted there. So cute! You can sign up here.
I wanted to share a sneak for April. I'm waiting on a shipment that will accompany these gems, but I'm already eager to tear into it...
This song has been on repeat all weekend. One of the best songs about friendship. Ever. Listened to it all the way home from dinner with two girlfriends on Saturday night, and got a little choked up on the car ride home. Nothing like face time with girlfriends who so totally get you. Sombreros and all...Ole!
