A few more layouts...

Wanted to share a few more layouts with you all today. This one is a new favorite...
My oldest and my youngest children shown here. They have a special bond. And the happy papers in that June kit made this one easy. That orange paper with the dotted lines made it the perfect specimen for journaling, too!

This two-pager showcased a few favorite photos from a walk on Meeting Street in Charleston, SC.
And this one of our feet had to be scrapped, of course...
And this one, well...this one is really personal. Many of you know that I'm a caregiver to both of my parents who live nearby and are home-bound. Last week, during an exceptionally difficult day, I sat down and wrote it all out. I thought twice about sharing this, because it involves my Dad and his privacy and his struggles with dementia. I've opted to share it because I know someone out there may benefit from it in some minute way. Scrapbooking to me is about sharing ALL the story--not just the fun times and happy faces.
Thanks so much for allowing me to share.

I hope you enjoy your day! :)

Fabulous to see your layouts, Trish! I love them all--each in it's own way. The story IS what counts, and I think too often we forget about that over the stress of design. Thank you for sharing your experience with your dad.

Gorgeous pages, all of them, Trish. Thank you for sharing the one about your dad. So heartfelt and so, so beautiful. THAT'S what scrapping is all about. Brought tears to my eyes. Your dad is so lucky to have you. Huge hugs.

Thank you. My mom cares for my dad, but we are just know considering a nursing home. I live close to help out. I should definitely document it.

These are some seriously wonderful projects and the one about your father, beyond meaningful and heartfelt, not to mention the design is a knock-out. Thanks for sharing and your father is blessed to have you!!
