Armed and Dangerous...

Had a great day at home with some wonderful ladies at a class. Here's Tina working hard on her photo pendant:Thankfully, no one got burned (which was a deep fear I had all day long with a soldiering iron!). Karen, yours is finished (she's a trooper with a broken arm) and I'll get yours to you this week. Deb, yours too! And they look great--can't wait for you to see them...

Here is Michelle's (she's making hers into a bracelet)...
And two of Mary Anne's:
Despite the cold, I appreciate you all venturing out on a day like today to spend it with me, and I thank you for it!

I wanted to take a minute to tell everyone thank you for all your interest in the Special Edition Anniversary Kit. It is sold out, and there are no more. I intend on emailing everyone who requested one but did not receive one. I am holding the list in case someone backs out or changes their mind, and will go in the order in which I received the requests. I am completely overwhelmed at the response, and I appreciate all your well wishes on the anniversary!

For those of you who didn't manage to score that kit, I did want you to know that the March Add-on kit will feature the die cut sheets from both Pink Paislee lines (Office Lingo and Spring Fling) as well as one of the papers. The sneaks will all be featured on March 15th here and on the website, and will all be available on pre-order.

And last but certainly not least...the winners of the contest!

Here are the answers in the order in which they were asked:

Tina
15
Carrie Owens, Joy Madison and Jamie Waters
8/21/07
Nicole
December 4th.
18,814

There were 7 people who answered correctly, and of them, I drew two winners.

Congrats to Kim Smith and Deonne Baker!!! I will mail out your packages on Tuesday!!! Please email me at Turay413@gmail.com for your addresses! Thanks to all of you out there who played along--you did a great job!

Back tomorrow wish some V-Day projects...

Okay, now for you gals who stuck it out and played with the questions all week long...Here's the deal!

Email Trish at Turay413@gmail.com with "Contest Answers" in the title of your email sometime today, and I'll post a winner on tomorrow's blog post. I've had some hilarious email on these questions--you guys are too funny! I can't wait to see what you all have come up with...

And to you gals in my class tomorrow, please remember to email me your photos so we can have them here to make extras if needed. Can't wait to create beautiful necklaces with you all tomorrow..I look forward to seeing good friends...and laughing a lot...

Happy Saturday!

Update

I just wanted to let you know that the Special Edition Anniversary Kits are officially *SOLD OUT*--Thanks so much for your interest! After midnight, I will be emailing individuals on the wait list and sending out paypal invoices to those who pre-ordered. All kits will ship out on Monday. Thanks so much! You guys are the absolute BEST!!!

A Very Special Anniversary Kit...

Well, I told you we'd have a special kit to celebrate our first year, right?
You could say that I'm tickled pink!!! Well, Pink Paislee, that is...
The kit includes 16 papers, 4 of which are die cut edged. The kit includes both new lines (Office Lingo and Spring Fling) from this cool new company that is set to debut their brand new stuff at CHA this coming weekend. And yes, it's right here, ready to ship!!!
The chipboard album is from Making Memories, and has the most awesome velvet embossed spine in chartreuse! And the kit also includes a really fun title/journaling stamp from Fontwerks that can be used on nearly everything!!!
So here's the scoop. The kit costs $35, and is being offered first to our customers who are on our autoship email. The folks on that program have until midnight tonight to commit to whether or not they want one of these kits. At that time, it will be opened up to the public. If you'd like to email me to pre-order at Turay413@gmail.com, I will be starting a list. Please note, I got a very limited quantity of these kits, being that this is a special edition kit. I will do my best to service everyone, and will service people on a first-come basis. I also want to stress that this kit is not a replacement of the March main kit or the project kit, which will be available to preview on February 15th. I also want to let you know there will NOT be a newsletter with this kit, but there will be layouts and projects available for preview on this blog in the near future for you to lift.

Whew! I know, a lot of info, right? I truly am over the moon excited and hope you love it as much as I do!!

And by the way, just wait til you see the sneaks for the March kits coming down the pike. Seriously over the top--and all of it NEW.

Okay, don't you worry--I didn't forget the question!! As of today, Friday, February 8, 2008, how many people have visited this blog since I began to track it (huge hint here for all you people who have stuck around this long...check the little map over the top right!). You need to write down the exact number.

Stay tuned tomorrow--I'll be announcing what to do with your answers!

Have a splendid day!

Valentine Treats...

These went together so quickly, I had to share...
Here is what you'll need:
Cardstock (half of an 8 1/2" x ll" sheet, cut vertically), printed paper (3" x 11"), quarter pound cello bags, a 2 1/2" scalloped circle punch, candy, a stapler and some ribbon.

Adhere the printed paper to the cardstock like so:
Punch a hole into the piece like this: (be sure it is centered)
Next, turn it over. I wrote the measurements down for you all, but on the inside of mine it is actually blank. Score the card at 4 1/2", 5 1/2" and 10 1/4".
(Sorry for the poor coloring. I didn't set my white balance for indoors--doh!)
Okay, fold over the 3/4" piece, tuck the bag of candy under the fold (as to catch it in the staple) and place the ribbon where you want. Carefully staple together.
Now close it up and tuck the bottom under the stapled part, like a matchbook cover, only upside down. The side will look like this:

Tah da! Hope you enjoy! I made tons for my child's classroom...

Okay, the question of the day...

On what day did I add the Clustermaps over the the top right of the blog?

Have a great night friends!

Anilu's February Gallery

Here are the amazing layouts created by Anilu with the February kit...

I think you'll agree that they're amazing!

Love what she did with her portfolio...
And the inside:
With a little luck, I may have a few sneaks and a special surprise before the weekend!! I'm stalking that mailman and UPS guy like a mad woman--hee hee! I'm over the moon excited, because it is all brand new stuff that was shipped before people head out to the big CHA show in CA this coming weekend...so be sure to peek back soon!

And the question of the day...Who created the button wreath where buttons were strung together with wire?

Enjoy your evening!

Ok, so they say I am crazy...*question at the bottom :)*

Ok, yes, before you ask...I did stitch each and everyone of those hearts on there. I used a chipboard heart off of a Fancy Pants big chipboard piece, as my template, poked all the holes, then sewed while watchng a tv show with Paul. I used the January main kit for it (minus the letters and cardstock), that I just love, and it's a photo of Caitlynn when she was, sob, 4 months old...how I wish I could go back to that, but, she is getting to be oh so cute at almost one!

And, I also have a question for all of you from Trish (who is taking care of a sick lil babe at home :( , and is now not feeling well, either, so send get well wishes and vibes).
Here is the question:
What day did the WIP Blog debut?
Good luck, all! :)

Congratulations, Anilu!!!

Look at our lovely Anilu over at Pencil Lines!! How completely cool is she? Not only is it a wonderful site, it is a highly respected site where top notch scrappers are showcased. You couldn't be more deserving my friend! So proud of you!

Upcoming Classes & a Treasure...

For you locals...

I'm teaching this class next week in my home and I have 2 openings left. You can view the details here...This is one charm that is double sided. In class, we'll be making two of these!
And I found all of this vintage Valentine stuff from Flea Market Treasures. Great customer service and beautiful stuff. Lilia's Etsy shop can be found here.
And I've been gathering springtime treasures here and there for my Easter projects class in March. I may have some leftovers that could find their way into kits...you'll have to stay tuned!
Okay, and for today's question...

Who were the guest designers for July, August and September of 2007 (in that order)?

Enjoy your week!

Paula and Heather

From time to time, I enjoy sharing some of the projects that are completed by our customers. Paula Clous created this mini book using the Favorite Photos of 2008 kit, and turned it on its ear! She altered it up and made it a book reflecting on her grandson's accomplishments and highlights ...
Isn't she an artist? I love all that stamping!

And you can see more of her mini and other lovely projects on her blog. Check it out!

I also got this one from Heather Saxberg, using pieces parts of past WIP Kits. Isn't this darling?
She's been having a lot of creative surges lately, so be sure to check out her blog as well!

Okay, now for today's question (and Judi--don't sweat it--there are a ton of people who love you for accidentally posting earlier--ha!)...

What is the combined number of children that myself and the design team members have? And yes, this does include Janelle (our newest member!)...

Remember, hold your answers until next Friday! hee hee...

Enjoy your evening!
