Father's Day Tributes...

I know this is not an original idea (I lifted it from Heidi Swapp in a CK magazine back in 2003!) . But I can promise you--it is a favorite around here. The moment I gave this to my husband for Father's Day 2004, he got all choked up and showed it to everyone he knew.It is a 6x6 album that I got in some kit somewhere. Not sure entirely--sorry. The black words are printed on brown bazzill cardstock with my printer. The white ones are rub-ons from Making Memories in the Heidi font. Green and brown cardstock. No patterned paper. Simple layout. A song called "These Are Days" by 10,000 Maniacs.
I've had the album in my basket, and you can see how the square in the front is faded cardstock from that little window...
The right side of this page is a sheet of vellum that is its own page, on top of the photo that shows through.

Two sheets of vellum pages, and they were put through the computer and trimmed to 6x6.

The whole book is funny to me now, because our last son wasn't even a consideration at this time! Ha!

So why not pick out a song that you're fond of--one that reminds you of him, the way he fathers, one that depicts your life right now--and make a mini out of it. I promise, you'll be happy you did...

Another Father's Day album to show you tomorrow...

Enjoy your Monday everyone!

It's a Making Memories Album kit that was sold on QVC. I think you get this albumn in a couple colors.

They may still have it.

Adorable albumn.
