Captured Through the Lens

I consider myself to be a student of photography. I really enjoy learning about it and I get so excited when I take a good shot of someone I love. This photo of my nephew is a recent favorite--he's a total cutie...(vignette 25% opacity along the edges--fyi).

I get asked about online classes and photography a lot. I get that people may be a bit skeptical, especially because I myself learn by doing something--not reading about it. I have to say that in this case, I have personally learned so much by taking several online photography classes, I love to throw attention in a certain direction when I see it is warranted.

Katrina Kennedy's class at Get it Scrapped starts today. You can check out a free preview of the class here. Is that tricycle photo beautiful, or what? There is also a nice summary of the class and the outline for it here. In my humble opinion, it is a complete value at only $50 for a 3-week class. Oh--and the class is not only for DSLR users, but also point-and-shooters. I know you won't regret making the commitment--and your photos will show evidence of your improvements. I'll be there with bells on--I hope to see you on the boards!!
