something old, made new.

I started this little mini way back when I worked at Archiver's.I wanted to document the millions of stuffed animals my son Cooper has collected and subsequently will not part with. The mini itself is a very quick and simple little concept. I started with 4x6 photos plus a front and back cover cut the same size from KI Memories Sheers. I backed each photo with a 4x6 Journaling Card from Pebbles Inc. I then punched and bound the book with a Zutter BinditAll. For a book title I used American Crafts Thickers and Doodlebug rubons. Overall, this part of the project took less than an hour.

I could not decide how to embellish the inside of the book so I set it aside for several months. Last week I finally got to work and finished it.

I cut a custom title on my Cricut for each page and simply handwrote the journaling on the preprinted cards. Here are some of my favorite pages, there were over 20 animals in all!

Once again, you kill me!!

You're the queen of all things Cricut. BTW, got to try out the Gypsy this week. Not in love. :(

I so need to do a book like this for J & E. They're Webkinz fans, and this would be perfect!!

Love this! My littlest DS has about 43 stuffed pigs and I will have to do this for him. Thanks for the inspiration.

Oh how I love this mini. I usually don't do minis but HAVE to make one of these for my daughter who has so many Webkinz, I am embarassed to give the exact number!

Love this idea! Between my son's animals and my daughter's webkinz...I guess I'll be making two. :) Can I ask which cricut cartridge you used? I don't recognize the font. Thank you!!!

Heather P--I hope I'm not speaking out of turn, but she uses the SCAL (which stands for Sure Cuts A Lot)on her cricut, which takes any font on your computer and makes it into a die cut. That is also how she welds the letters together and mats them perfectly.

Thanks Trish. I've never heard of it! Apparently I have much to learn. :)
