Jennifer & Todd's Wedding

My cousin Jen got married this weekend. While I was not the wedding photographer (I have no experience, and am thankful I got to enjoy myself), I could not resist taking my camera along and taking shots for me. I shot over 1,000 pictures, and I never grew tired. I thought I'd share some of my favorites from the day...
Jen and Todd are dog lovers. They adore their dog, Chloe, and I love that they included her in several wedding pictures...
I love this shot. My aunt and uncle did such a fine job raising two beautiful young women. And Todd's mom did a wonderful job with him as well. I tried to get them to tell me all their child-rearing secrets...

I confess...I said a prayer for good lighting...and it was answered...

The bridal party. Jen's sister was her maid-of-honor. They were both in our wedding 13 years ago. One of my earliest memories is of me dancing at their parent's wedding, some 38 years ago when I was just 4 years old. Kind of surreal, bearing witness to these events and having such fond memories of them still...

The personal touches were everywhere. Every table had a different 5x7 photograph of Chloe with the table number printed on the photo, and framed. I loved it. She printed the menus, invitations and programs and placecards herself...

I love a good storyboard. I will confess to visiting Snippet & Ink almost daily--and I love how they link all the wonderful pictures up to where they got stuff. So here goes...

Cupcakes were heavenly, the Photographer was quiet and creative and quite simply, amazing. Flowers were ordered online and bouquets were handmade by the bride and her bridesmaids, the Church looked so beautiful...

Capturing a sweet moment in the park (thanks to a wonderful coordinator), and photos by the falls, a series of 5x7 photographs in memoriam to family and friends who were with them in spirit on their special day, and a photo guest book that was comprised of favorite photos of the couple on one side, and an open page on the opposite side for signatures (made by the groom who is also an amazing photographer.) The food was heavenly, and I plan on using Ahern Catering in the near future, I liked it so much...

And while there are no pictures posted of the band, I could not blog about their wedding and leave them out. If you are looking for outstanding entertainment, be sure to check them out. They really played everything, and the crowd loved dancing the night away...
Jen & Todd, thanks for including me and my family on your special day. We love you very much!!
Now if only I could stow away with them to Hawaii...
