Keep Calm and Carry On??

So I am sure you savvy scrappers have seen these posters all over the www - especially over on etsy - you can find this sign here. This is a tid bit of history behind the original WW2 posters

Keep Calm and Carry On was the third in a series of World War 2 posters drawn up by the UK Ministry of Information in order to boost the morale of the British people by passing on a message from King George VI. The posters were a stark white text on a red background, with the only image on the poster being the royal crown of George VI.

You can find out more about it here...

Well here is the real fun part! There is a site that allows you to make your own signs with your own sayings...here are some that I just plugged in.
Aren't they cute? You can save your poster and then have it printed out. I think it would be cute to have mini ones on a layout - right?

Here is the site - it is called Keep Calm-o-Matic --- Have fun!!

I had no idea that was the origin of this saying. Funny enough, I have a big canvas print of it in my scrap room and when I look at it - I calm the heck down. :)
